well christmas approaches and i cant believe how busy i am going to be. luckily i have managed to acquire a vehicle for the duration - even if it is a gas guzzler. a number of friends are away over christmas - egypt, dubai and the carribean - lucky them - oh to be in the heat. the removal of the dog is not going well although my brother has a contact who might be able to find a home for her.

i am now waiting with baited breath to find out if my application to birmingham uni for my masters has been accepted and we are finally going to get our pay rise at the end of jan - but it will be backdated so i can use the money to start the fixing up of the house.

i am looking forward to next year, although january will be busy with journeys to aberdeen, cardiff, belfast, sunningdale and york - probably a number to york.

i am excited by this stage in my life and looking forward to the opportunities and challenges that are opening up for me.

and then there is glastonbury - me and cg will be registering in January and both of us are really excited about going again. i need to work out how to get tickets for some other festivals as they seem to be all sold out. we are also considering some weekend breaks in europe.
