So I can't believe how busy I am these days - its so much easier to go off and do something when you are single - non of that worrying what the other person is up to and whether they had planned anything.
Tuesday night found me down the rugby club helping out - although there wasnt much massage this week and the physio did seem to take particular delight at the end of training in walking out with me through the players who were for the most part still naked - why does it take them so long to get changed!
Then Wednesday rugby training for the boy - at least this week i didnt get a text saying he had broken his thumb. Thursday back at yoga with sis and a good gossip, sge is still spitting feathers over a certain person and I think they were probably lucky to get away with their life when she saw them the other day.
Thursday a real surprise for the boy - for three years he has gone for Essex selection and yet again this year we were told he had been unsuccessful - but Thursday night we got home and there was a letter offering him a place in the Essex squad. Hey were we both chuffed - its the best news he has had for ages- all we need now is for his thumb to heal before 13th October.
Then Friday night out and it was a good night - very enjoyable and a repeat is in order I think. Saturday all day at the rugby, it was a good match - and dinner in the evening was really nice although finding my companions hotel turned out to be an adventure in itself.
Sunday was my sisters birthday and i went to lunch with her, her partner, my niece, her partner and my brother. It was a fantastic afternoon and evening. The amount of alcohol consumed was probably too much - but what a day. And my brother is now wanting to take me out to meet some of his friends - hey I must be looking good - normally he wouldnt walk down the street with me (although I suspect he has the hots for CG whom he saw a pic of on my phone).
Back to work Monday and surprisingly no hangover. I got tons done and am feeling I can take on anything.
