Well the assessment centre was as bad as predicted - dont get feedback for 4 weeks so i will have to wait to see whether i managed to convince them that i am any good

went for a drink after work last night and ended up with te IT guys who are desperate for me to be their line manager - i have tried to tell them it is highly unlikely on account of me not being an it professional but i will know whether i have got through to the next stage on tuesday. they then abandoned me to some drunk stranger who was convinced that he was coming home with me - i told him in no uncertain terms to go home to his wife and two kids. he then tried following me to the train station and i threatened him with the police and pushed him which resulted in him staggering into the road. i do hope he got home ok although i hope that i never see him again another example of a prize wanker lol
